What wall rack do you recommend?
These are nice racks if you're displaying your surfboard in a home or office. If you need a rack to hold a surfboard in a garage, shed, or other unglamorous place, I would lean more toward a Paradise Wall Rack. They are cheaper, still do the job, and are available in deferent sizes and use cases. Hope that helps. -Adam
When the Wooden Hand Surfboard Wall rack is mounted horizontally how does it secure the board? What prevents your board from sliding off the rack?
The bottom edge of the board will rest on the hands and the top edge of the board will rest up against the wall. The pegs on the fingers will prevent the board from sliding out. No slip padding adds slip and ding protection.
What type of wood are they made of?
The manufacturer does not specify what type of wood is used in the construction of the rack. This is all that is indicated: "Our wood products are made of EIA and Telapak approved-Non-Endangered trees. Not made in China."
How many surfboards will it hold?
You could probably put two smaller surfboards on it if they are both thin and have similar rockers though it's designed to hold a single surfboard. Please leave a review below if you've used it for more than one surfboard.
