The Kensington watch from Nixon features 3 hand Japanese quartz movement for durability. A stainless steel case, stainless steel band and a double locking clasp complete the package. Tested to 100m depth.
What is jewel movement? Great question. It's our understanding that the jewels provide the lubricant needed so the pins and moving parts (the guts of the watch) do not become out of synch or simply seize up over years of use. More jewels lead to more accuracy, longevity and expense.
