How many minutes of video will this camera hold before it runs out of storage space?
With a 32GB memory card (filming in 4K30 resolution) the camera will hold roughly 66 minutes of footage. If you have a 64GB memory card shooting in the same resolution, your camera will hold roughly 133 minutes of footage. This camera has the ability to shoot in many different resolutions and frames per second, so if you lower the resolution to 1080p or 720p the camera will hold much more footage.

Will the video filmed on the Hero 4 Silver look good in slow motion? Or will the video be choppy?
Thanks for your question. The Hero 4 Silver has the ability to shoot in many different frame rates and many different resolutions. The lower frames per second one films in (30fps) will have a less smooth slowed down video appearance. This means that if you slow the video down to half speed it will be a little choppy. 30 frames per second with 4K resolution is meant for extremely high quality full speed video and very high quality photos. However, if you shoot in a higher frame per second setting (60fps or 120fps) the slowed down quality will be much smoother.

Does this camera have the ability to shoot a time lapse?
Good question. Yes, this camera makes filming a time lapse video very easy. In Time Lapse Video mode, the camera captures a time lapse video automatically. It’s a great way to showcase a sunrise or a full day surf trip.

Great question. 4K30 (also called 4K resolution) refers to having a horizontal resolution of 4,000 pixels. To put it in perspective, some of the highest quality HD tvs are 1080 pixels.
