The DaKine Aero Rack Pads are used to pad the top of an existing roof rack on a car or SUV. They come in a pack of two, are 34" wide, and the Regular size can fit most roof racks. For larger roof racks, like on a Hummer, we recommend the XL. The pads are the same size on both the Regular and XL but the Velcro sleeve is wider on the XL to accommodate thicker bars. Both are made from custom extruded foam and durable 600D polyester fabric.
Is this a good pad for a paddleboard? Yes. Most paddleboards are less than 34" wide so the entire surface of your board will be padded. If you have a very wide board, want to put two narrower boards next to each other, or simply want to pad the entire roof rack, we recommend the 44" version.
Should I buy two if I want two pads or does it come with two pads? They are sold in pairs so by selecting a quantity of 1, you will receive two pads.
