Alone these look nice. However, I have round Yakima racks and these pads don't fit tightly around them. On my first drive, they slipped and are hanging upside down. If I had known this would happen, I would have gotten the regular, round pads.

These are very nice high quality...
These are very nice high quality pads. No annoying strings to tie just a very secure Velcro closure. The look good and the foam seems to be of significantly higher density and quality than the average roof rack pad. SCHHweet!

Quality DaKine product for flat crossbars. Not for round bars. Give yourself one star if you put them on round bars and they didn’t work well ya barney.

Looks awesome on my aero roof...
Looks awesome on my aero roof racks. Fits snug so they don't move which is a plus. Only down side is that they aren't quite as long as the should be.

Thicker than Thule, Yak, or pool noodles. Solid velcro all the way across. No strings to tie. Flat on top. Fits my Vw stock rack perfectly.

I use the pads to reduce wind noise that my rack causes at highway speeds. They work well for this application.
