I have a 1997 Honda Accord. Need to carry a 9.6 longboard to beach. Need racks. Are the soft racks listed here safe for freeway driving? The Honda has no gutters. What do you suggest? Soft Racks are not recommended for use with speeds over 60 mph. I would recommend getting the Block Surfer Hard Rack. This would be your best option if you plan on traveling on the freeway.
Should I buy two if I want two pads or does it come with two pads? They are sold in pairs so by selecting a quantity of 1, you will receive two pads.

Easy, cost effective, quick fix to mount a few boards with no roof racks. Needed a solution for a trip to Nantucket. No issues with holding two 9ft boards down the highway and around town. Only issue as others have mentioned is when it rains heavy, water runs down them and into the car.

GREAT PRODUCT! Held a Long Board...
GREAT PRODUCT! Held a Long Board and Short Board on a 15 hour trip just fine... going about 75 mph. The only downside is that if it rains, the rain water can seep into the car from the straps, but it's not that bad. Great Company, shipped quickly!
