What is TEC-V construction?
TEC-V (Thermal Epoxy Compression - Veneer) technology. Utilizing this technology both heat and pressure are applied, and coupled with the finest epoxy resins, Boardworks produces a sandwich molded board that is light, tight, and very durable. Each Boardworks TEC-V board consists of a dual-density core, (EPS bonded to a veneer outer shell), fiberglass, and the finest epoxy resins. The construction process results in surfboards with amazing strength to weight ratio and excellent flex and rebound characteristics.
